Our Story

Signature over-55s lifestyle living across beautiful Queensland.

Pacific Retirement Estates (PRE) is a Brisbane-based retirement village and Community Titles Scheme (CTS) operator, combining over 55s resort management, QBCC-licensed building capability and boutique property development across Queensland.

Our focus is practical: to develop and operate affordable, liveable and well-managed lifestyle communities in regional Queensland locations where residents can enjoy comfort, independence and connection.

From its Brisbane base, PRE is building a scalable portfolio across Tin Can Bay, Childers, Mossman Gorge, Seaforth and Wamuran, with estate projects ranging from established village operations to active construction, approved developments, secured sites and proposed future communities.

Our group’s model is designed around low-rise construction, regional affordability, lifestyle appeal and the long-term demand driven by Australia’s ageing population.

As PRE expands its retirement village and over 55s lifestyle community platform, the group is focused on strengthening the systems and professional oversight expected of a growing property and village operations business.

This includes a focus on:

  • Board oversight and executive accountability;

  • Financial management and reporting processes;

  • Retirement village compliance and resident support;

  • Legal, conveyancing, audit and tax advice;

  • Building certification, civil engineering and construction supervision;

  • Property and trust account management;

  • Stakeholder communication, media and public relations

Looking ahead, PRE is also developing its governance, disclosure and reporting disciplines with regard to a potential future IPO or ASX listing pathway, should that process be progressed.

PRE’s Board is well placed to support this work, with directors and advisers bringing experience across ASX-listed company leadership, IPO processes, corporate governance, capital markets, operational oversight, stakeholder engagement and shareholder value creation.

This includes Chairman Greg Starr, who brings more than 30 years’ experience as a listed company Chair, Non-Executive Director and Executive Director across multiple entities in Australia and abroad.

Future-facing work ensures:

  • Transparent communication with investors and stakeholders;

  • Responsible risk management;

  • Consistent professional and legal advice;

  • Clear internal reporting processes;

  • Governance practices aligned with public market expectations;

  • Preparing for governance, disclosure and reporting standards expected of an ASX-ready organisation.

PRE’s governance and compliance focus remains centred on responsible village operations, disciplined development oversight, financial transparency and the creation of sustainable long-term value for shareholders, residents and other stakeholders.
