Pacific Retirement Estates (PRE) is a Brisbane-based retirement village and Community Titles Scheme (CTS) operator, combining over 55s resort management, QBCC-licensed building capability and boutique property development across Queensland.

Our focus is practical: to develop and operate affordable, liveable and well-managed lifestyle communities in regional Queensland locations where residents can enjoy comfort, independence and connection.

From its Brisbane base, PRE is building a scalable portfolio across Tin Can Bay, Childers, Mossman Gorge, Seaforth and Wamuran, with estate projects ranging from established village operations to active construction, approved developments, secured sites and proposed future communities.

Our group’s model is designed around low-rise construction, regional affordability, lifestyle appeal and the long-term demand driven by Australia’s ageing population.

Mr Greg Starr provides board-level oversight and strategic guidance for PRE. He brings more than 30 years of experience as a listed company chair, non-executive director and executive director in Australia and internationally.

Gary R. Simonite

Managing Director & CEO

Mr Gary Simonite leads PRE’s strategic direction, village sales, building operations and development activities.

He is an experienced property entrepreneur with more than 20 years’ industry experience, focused on driving operational performance, EBITDA growth and shareholder value.

Glenn Davis

Non-Executive Director

Mr Glenn Davis is a finance industry professional with more than 40 years’ experience, including previous experience as CEO of a $6 billion industry superannuation fund.

Donald W. Dickie

Non-Executive Director

Mr Donald Dickie is a barrister and mediator, called to the Queensland Bar in 2008. His experience includes commercial, probate and estate disputes, and he has been a nationally accredited mediator since 2014.

Anthony Fronis

Independent Non-Executive Director

Mr Anthony Fronis is an experienced barrister, called to the Queensland Bar in 2015, with a legal background across governance, risk management and strategic decision-making.

Mr Michael Ryan is a Chartered Accountant with qualifications in commerce and law. He has experience as an executive, investor and director across the resources, construction, trade and investment sectors.

Ms Kimberley Coric supports PRE’s compliance and administration functions. Her background spans operations and human resource management, supporting PRE’s commitment to responsible village operations, resident support and regulatory standards.

Governance & Compliance

Pacific Retirement Estates is building a governance and compliance framework designed to support responsible growth, disciplined project delivery and long-term shareholder value across its Queensland portfolio.

As PRE expands its retirement village and over 55s lifestyle community platform, the group is focused on strengthening the systems and professional oversight expected of a growing property and village operations business.

This includes a focus on:

Retirement village compliance and resident support;
Legal, conveyancing, audit and tax advice;
